Seven Dials hosts a 'Starry Night' in aid of Shelter

Seven Dials welcomed thousands of visitors yesterday evening, 14th November, to celebrate the atmospheric West End village’s annual Christmas lights switch on, and officially inaugurate the festive season. Both the lights and the evening’s Christmas activities were based around the theme a ‘Starry Night’, held in aid of the housing and homelessness charity Shelter.

Seven Dials unveils Pride in London 'Street Party' pop-up shop

Chief Executive of Shaftesbury, Brian Bickell was celebrating the exclusive Pride pop-up store opening at 53a Neal Street, Seven Dials, alongside Alison Camps, Co-Chair of Pride in London. The ‘Street Party’ Pop-up store is in conjunction with Pride in London 2019 and Mary Portas ‘Queen of Shops’, and is open to the public until 12 July.

Shaftesbury has announced Seven Dials is set to host a week-long celebration for International Women’s Day in March, in support of the West End destination’s overarching 2019 theme of #Balanceforbetter. A wide variety of initiatives, including a dedicated hub and collaboration with Scarlett Curtis - feminist activist and author - will take place, alongside activations by numerous brands in the location.
