Seven Dials welcomes Redemption's flagship restaurant

Shaftesbury has announced that clean-eating restaurant concept, Redemption, has now opened its flagship site at 15 Shorts Gardens/2 Neal’s Yard in the unique village of Seven Dials, in London’s West End.

The 1629 sq ft restaurant offers visitors to Seven Dials a menu of wholefood, vegan, gluten-free dishes that are low in natural unrefined sugars. The 45-cover restaurant was designed by an in-house team, in collaboration with architect Atelier Khan and fit-out company df20. The Seven Dials flagship is the brand’s first site to offer a nutritious take-away selection and features world’s first alcohol-free cocktail bar, showcasing a wide selection of alcohol-free mocktails, beers, wines and spirits.

Commenting on the news, Julia Wilkinson, Group Restaurant Strategy Executive at Shaftesbury, said: “The concept by Redemption is very exciting, especially in this current market where the emphasis is on healthy, vegan and nutritious food. The added bonus of the evening offer and alcohol free cocktail menu allows visitors to enjoy this alternative restaurant/café concept from the daytime through to the evening. Redemption’s unique offer complements the many specialist retailers which unite in making Seven Dials a distinctive shopping, dining and leisure experience within a central London location.”

Catherine Salway, CEO from Redemption added: “The vibrant district of Seven Dials offers high footfall with international recognition and appeal, for our London flagship restaurant. We are pleased to offer Seven Dials’ visitors our brand promise of ‘spoil yourself without spoiling yourself’ through our alcohol-free drinks and plant-based menus, for the consistently increasing market of clean eating.”
