Liverpool ONE unveils new city sign ahead of Eurovision

Liverpool ONE has unveiled the new artwork for the city’s giant, 14.5 metre, Liverpool sign. Marking the official countdown to the Eurovision Song Contest, the new artwork was revealed at Liverpool ONE yesterday morning, ahead of the official Eurovision handover ceremony, which was hosted by Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu, and broadcasted from Liverpool's St George's Hall last night.  

The giant Liverpool sign, located on Thomas Steers Way, has been given a fresh design ahead of the iconic event taking place in the city in May, emblazoned with hearts beating together to reflect the “very origins of the contest”, according to organisers at the BBC.
