Popular independent coffee brand announces permanent space at Liverpool ONE
Grosvenor has announced that popular North West coffee operator, Bean, has opened a permanent space on Manesty’s Lane having relocated from its pop-up on South John Street.
Spanning 1,800 sq ft, and adding 42 covers, the operator’s new space houses a coffee shop and an improved retail space for customers to trial and buy coffee making equipment, from filters to espresso machines, incorporating coffee tastings, a dedicated ‘Brew Bar’ and individual barista masterclasses. Bean’s recent relocation to a permanent home at Liverpool ONE is reflective of Grosvenor’s ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses and stands to strengthen the destination’s already diverse F&B portfolio.
Alison Clegg, Managing Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor, commented: “Bean’s move to a permanent location on Manesty’s Lane underlines our ability to help local companies and entrepreneurs build their businesses. Bean adds something different to Liverpool ONE’s already varied mix of independent and international brands and we are looking forward to seeing them flourish at their new location.”
Jon Whyte, managing director of Bean, added: “We are very pleased to be operating within a permanent home at Liverpool ONE, building on the success we have already experienced at the destination via our pop-up tenancy. At Bean we love introducing people to specialty coffee, so our brew bar and coffee area are perfect for customers to explore many flavours from different origins, allowing them take top tips and equipment home with them.”
Bean’s relocation follows a busy start to 2022 at Liverpool ONE, with three opening announcements – Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen on Paradise Street, premium golf simulation concept On the Green at The Terrace and Rituals at South John Street - as well as two further signing announcements - Timothy Oulton at Peter’s Lane and Russell & Bromley at South John Street.
