Shelley Sandzer serves Patty & Bun its tenth location
Leading specialist UK leisure and property agency, Shelley Sandzer, has secured a new site for Patty & Bun, the popular better burger concept. The restaurant is set to open in Clapham on the locally-loved shopping and dining destination of Northcote Road.
The 1,537 sq ft unit is located adjacent to Northcote Records and nearby retailers such as Oliver Bonas, Kiehl’s and the popular Archer Street Bar. It will be Patty & Bun’s ninth in London, reflecting the growth of localism as consumers seek their favourite West End brands on their doorstep, as well as the continued rise of the brand. The new restaurant is set to open in early 2022, and will offer 35 covers inside, and 10 outdoors.
Starting its journey with various pop-ups around the capital, Patty & Bun opened its first site in Marylebone in 2012, with the operator expanding to eight in London and one in Brighton. With a cross platform presence offering delivery, takeaway and dining in, Patty & Bun’s menu features an abundance of plant-based, gluten free and halal options on the menu, whilst striving to create the best burgers possible using fresh ingredients, valuing tradition, simplicity and quality.
Joe Grossman, Founder of Patty & Bun, commented: “Expanding our business is always something we are excited about, and we feel Clapham reflects our brand ethos in the best way and will be a great addition to our collection of sites. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and with our great ecosystem of suppliers, we are excited be joining a new community.”
Ted Schama, Joint Managing Partner of Shelley Sandzer, added: “There has been increased demand from consumers for much-loved West End brands to open in non-central London locations. Localism and hybrid working are well-established, and it’s important that diners not only have their favourites embedded within the bright lights of the West End, but on their doorstep too. Patty & Bun is taking the opportunity to expand to a trendy area of the capital and the move will bring growth to the business and be a great addition to the Clapham and Battersea community.”
This news follows Shelley Sandzer’s appointment to support Happy Padel, the new hip and healthy urban social sport concept, with finding a flagship UK debut site, followed by a nationwide expansion. Working alongside Barworks, Shelley Sandzer are bringing the sport to the leisure market with a hope to secure locations around the capital.
