Shaftesbury crafts exciting addition to Seven Dials with Brewdog
Shaftesbury has today announced that brewer and bar operator, BrewDog, is to open in Seven Dials, taking a 5,100 sq ft site across three floors located at 142 Shaftesbury Avenue.
The brewer and bar operator is due to open by the end of February. Designed by BrewDog’s in-house team in collaboration with Surface I.D., the site will feature bars on two floors, and will retain the building’s unique aesthetic alongside signature BrewDog finishes.
Complementing the bar’s extensive craft beer offer, which includes the UK’s leading craft beer Punk IPA alongside popular craft beers such as Dead Pony Club and Jet Black Heart, BrewDog will offer cutting-edge beers from their favourite breweries across the UK and overseas. In addition, the bar will serve a menu featuring burgers and wings, as well as serving up brunch at the weekends.
Julia Wilkinson, Portfolio & Group Restaurant Strategy Executive at Shaftesbury, said: “BrewDog’s strong brand and popular beer will be a great fit for such a busy, energetic location. This is a highly prominent site situated at the gateway to Seven Dials, adjacent to the recently opened Shake Shack, and a stone’s throw from some of the West End’s most popular theatres. The arrival of the latest Elizabeth Line services in December will bring even more people to the area, with Tottenham Court Road Station being only a short walk away.”
David McDowall, Managing Director at BrewDog Retail, added: “We are thrilled to have secured this site in the heart of the West End amongst some of London’s best theatres, bars and restaurants. It is an incredible location and we were keen to be part of Seven Dials. We look forward to welcoming the local regulars and residents, as well as the tourists that Seven Dials attracts, bringing BrewDog beer to even more people in the capital.”
