Crayfields Park secures new leasing deals following consecutive Green Apple wins
Crayfields Park, the 22-acre office and industrial space in Orpington, has secured a series of new leasing deals, highlighting the park’s commitment to providing exceptional workspace and fostering a thriving business environment. This news comes as the mixed-use scheme has secured a ‘Silver Winner’ Green Apple Environmental Award, following a similar success a year earlier, for work done to promote a more wildlife-friendly site environment.
Good Life Plus, a membership-based charity and rewards platform, has chosen Crayfields Park for its first permanent office, leasing 1,866 sq ft on the ground floor of Osprey House. In addition, long-standing tenants Stearn Electric, Euro Car Parts, and the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust have renewed their leases, demonstrating their confidence in the park’s long-term potential, given its prime location as a gateway between London and Kent and quality of on-site support.
The Green Apple award win encompassed actions taken by L&G, Bellrock, and JLL to enhance the biodiversity at Crayfields Park. This consisted of a range of initiatives, each focusing on a different way Crayfields Park could enhance its biodiversity and connection with its community. It formed part of an ongoing strategy that will see the site continue to build better relationships with local stakeholders through environmentally focused practices, exemplified by the three beehives now in situ, made possible by the award-winning biodiversity project.
Nigel Marsden, Senior Asset Manager, Asset Management, L&G, commented: “Crayfields Park is constantly evolving, and we are committed to creating an exceptional environment for both existing and new businesses. The arrival of Good Life Plus and the lease renewals from our valued tenants underscore the opportunities for success at Crayfields. Winning the Green Apple Award for the second year in a row also reflects our commitment to more than just leasing space – it’s about creating a site that fosters tenant engagement and community involvement, and one that its people take pride in being part of.”
Andy Wilson, Estate Manager at Crayfields Park, commented: “Crayfields Park has flourished over the last year, in no small part because of the work the entire team has put into building a more environmentally friendly, biodiverse site. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck into making that happen, but mostly the way we have been able to work with our community – be they tenants on site, neighbouring schools, or stakeholder groups – because it shows me how progressive this site is, and its importance here in Orpington as a hub of commerce.”
