Third Space collaborates with Sloane Stanley for next London location
The Sloane Stanley Estate has announced that luxury health club, Third Space, has signed for a new location on Mallord Street as the brand continues to expand its presence across the capital. Set to open later in 2025, Third Space will bring a brand new facet to Sloane Stanley’s diverse portfolio, adding an unparalleled fitness and wellness offer to the Estate for the first time.
Following the success of its locations in areas such as Wimbledon, Battersea, and Mayfair, Third Space has signed for a circa 30,000 sq ft luxury gym at 19 Mallord Street, previously occupied by BT Telephone Exchange. The new location will utilise state-of-the-art equipment, training, and recuperation zones to inspire its members to be their personal best.
The arrival of Third Space to Mallord Street marks a significant moment for the Sloane Stanley Estate as it builds upon its heritage portfolio to deliver high-quality experiences for residents, locals, and visitors. Third Space will fit seamlessly with the variety of independent retailers, F&B and leisure operators situated on King’s Road and Fulham Road, and is indicative of Sloane Stanley’s approach to securing forward-thinking, innovative brands.
Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, commented: “Third Space is one of the most sought-after luxury fitness and wellness brands in London, so this is a milestone moment for Sloane Stanley. Not only does Third Space echo the character and ambience of the area, it emphasises our commitment to delivering a greater number of leisure and well-being facilities to the community of Chelsea. Selecting the best brands for our portfolio is at the forefront of our strategy, and we are delighted to be welcoming Third Space to the estate next year.”
Colin Waggett, CEO of Third Space, added: “The borough of Chelsea has been on our radar for quite some time, and we are delighted to finally announce our arrival and collaboration with the Sloane Stanley Estate, a natural fit within our portfolio. Our aim at Third Space is to deliver the best-in-class fitness experience, and we look forward to providing more people the opportunity to be the best they can be in a state-of-the-art environment.
This news follows a series of F&B entrants joining the Sloane Stanley Estate in the coming weeks, such as New York-style Pizzeria, Alley Cats, which is set to open its second location in London on King’s Road. Fantomas, the brand new Modern European concept by George Bukhov-Weinstein and Ilya Demichev, is also set to open on King’s Road in the next few months, joining operators such as Dez Amore and Josephine by Claude Bosi on Fulham Road.
Miles Commercial, Savills and Levy Real Estate represented the Sloane Stanley Estate in the deal, and P-THREE acted for Third Space.
