Victoria Place has today announced the opening of Komo, an exclusive cocktail bar. The 4,754 sq ft unit is located at 21-25 Commercial Way and is the second site for the operator.

Serving classic and signature cocktails, Komo combines its unique collection of drinks with regular live music to create an energetic venue, along with a resident DJ on Saturdays. Komo serves an extensive food offer and runs regular 90-minute masterclasses to share expert insight into the science of cocktail-making.

Komo Woking has been fitted out in a modern yet relaxed format, featuring ivy and other greenery set against an industrial backdrop, all built to embody their ‘get there fast, take it slow’ ethos. Designed by Engaging Interiors Ltd, who prioritise low-impact bar refurbishment, the bar’s design enhances the unit’s original features and incorporates reupholstered benches as well as a new countertop procured from a local stone mason.

Joe Pennefather, General Manager of Komo, commented: “The opening of Komo in Victoria Place is the first step in the expansion of our brand. Following our success in Guildford, we are proud to be putting down more roots in the Surrey stronghold that is Victoria Place. We feel excited to enter this new chapter in Woking’s rejuvenated centre and are thrilled to provide our signature Komo experience to locals and visitors alike.”

John-Paul Jackson, Centre Manager at Victoria Place, added: “The addition of a vibrant operator such as Komo is evidence of the energised atmosphere following the opening of Victoria Place. We are pleased to welcome the Surrey-based brand to Woking, bolstering Victoria Place’s position as a destination centred around enriching and enlivening the local area.”

The news follows the recent openings of leading British brand M&S, artisanal bakery GAIL’s and East Asian inspired fast-food chain itsu, all at Victoria Place, further diversifying the destination’s F&B offering.
