LaDuca quick-steps into Covent Garden for its European debut
The Mercers’ Company has announced that the internationally renowned dance shoe brand from New York, LaDuca, has signed for their first UK site at 37 Drury Lane, Covent Garden.
The brand’s 1,588 sq ft European flagship, personally designed by Phil LaDuca, will reflect the charm and heritage, combined with the theatrical flair that the store in New York is known for.
The new Drury Lane location will feature ‘Full on Custom show' stage shoes, the must-have style for the Spice Girls, Hugh Jackman and West End shows such as Kinky Boots and Wicked. Handmade in Italy with the finest Italian leather, LaDuca is the footwear brand used in theatre, film, television, and concerts; created by a dancer, Phil LaDuca,for dancers.

The location is renowned for its exceptional theatre district and our new international home on Drury Lane is a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the industry.”

The news follows the recent announcement that Russell and Bromley are relocating to 107 Long Acre, opposite Covent Garden tube station. Iconic clothing and dancewear brand, Pineapple, has also recently relocated their UK flagship store to a more prominent position at 8 Mercer Walk, marking the 40thanniversary of the legendary Pineapple Dance Studios.
After a successful six month pop-up, US sock brand Stance also launched their permanent store on Neal Street in May 2019.
