STEP INSIDE THE WARDROBE WORKSHOP ON THE KING’S ROAD

Sloane Stanley has today announced the launch of The Wardrobe Workshop, an independent pop-up for pre-loved and new fashion items. The brand will be trading from February 25 to March 10 at 325 King’s Road, in the heart of Chelsea.

The Wardrobe Workshop is a retailer which adopts a unique two-way platform merging independent brands with revived pre-loved fashion, in one space. Combatting the fast fashion model, the brand’s strategy is focused on sustainability and the environmental impact of retail. Starting as an e-commerce business, the brand will be selling luxury labels, including: Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Valentino and Gucci, at their first pop-up venture on the King’s Road.

In addition, homeware accessories retailer, Hunter & Co. has opened at 341 King’s Road. The brand’s stylish products are inspired by coastal living, including rugs, vases, cushions, baskets and art prints. First established as an online business, this is the brand’s debut bricks and mortar pop-up venture, open from February 18 to March 3.

Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley, commented: “Pop-ups have always been an important component in our leasing strategy. These short term lets have a history of success on the King’s Road, and give important exposure to new and engaged audiences for emerging brands looking to establish their customer demographic. It’s wonderful to see these unique concepts flourish from online to bricks and mortar, and the pop-up platform is an ideal way to do this. The Wardrobe Workshop and Hunter and Co.’s beautiful products will make for a vibrant showcase on The King’s Road and will complement the existing fashion, design and interiors offering in the catchment.”

Charlotte Bowring, Founder of The Wardrobe Workshop, added: “The King’s Road is a hugely desirable location for us to showcase our unique fashion concept and we are so pleased to have the opportunity to trial this on one of London’s most iconic streets. This pop-up is the natural step in growth for our successful online business. We’re passionate about bringing both pre-loved and new fashion into one space and consider the Chelsea catchment a great place to do this.”
