At 7,200 sq. ft, the renowned British brand is set to open its latest retail destination at the Bluebird Garage; a celebrated Art Deco motor garage that has connections with London’s rich legacy of innovation, modern culture and design. Located on the ground floor in situ with the iconic Bluebird Café, the new flagship store will feature the largest retail display of Timothy Oulton collections anywhere in the world.

The opening of the Chelsea gallery is the latest expression of the company, which has been evolving since 2008, marking 10 years since its first opening in Los Angeles. Present in some of the world’s great cities including New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Sydney, New Delhi, Moscow, and in London at Heal’s, Harrods, and now Bluebird on the Kings Road.

Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley, commented: “Timothy Oulton is a powerful addition to the eclectic, vibrant array of brands offered on the King’s Road. The rich heritage of the estate and of Bluebird Garage, complements the brand’s traditional British collection. Bluebird is a bustling hub of entertainment and a destination that attracts a lot of visitors, providing a robust platform for an established brand such as Timothy Oulton to launch their flagship store in Chelsea, London.”

Tim Oulton, founder of Timothy Oulton, added: “It’s a special place, and we want to bring something very special to Bluebird, and to Chelsea. Inviting people into our home has always been at the core of our ethos, so we’re passionate that the gallery at Bluebird shows our home at its absolute best, and is not only a great furniture destination but it’s also a place to host and connect with people.”

About Timothy Oulton

The story of Timothy Oulton started back in 1976 with a small antiques shop, owned by Tim’s dad.
