The St David’s Partnership, owners of St David’s in Cardiff, one of the UK’s premier retail and leisure destinations, has announced today that international fashion brand Stradivarius, opened its first Welsh store at the centre over Easter weekend.
The 5,200 sq ft store is situated on the Upper Grand Arcade, opposite H&M. Stradivarius was established in 1994 and has since opened its doors in over 60 countries around the globe. The St David’s store will stock fashion-forward clothing, footwear and accessories for women.
Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and intu, Colin Flinn, regional managing director - west, commented on the opening: “The Stradivarius launch alongside the current strong fashion offering, cements St David’s as one of the leading retail locations within the UK and one which appeals to international brands wanting to expand."
Stradivarius joins a string of fashion brands that have opened at St David’s in the last 12 months, including CK Underwear, Oliver Bonas and Lovisa. This latest opening follows Kurt Geiger’s recent relocation within the centre. Superdry also refurbished their store last year, which featured the brand’s first dedicated Superdry Sport entrance in the UK.
